Are you offering free meals in Oklahoma? I have boycotted Applebee’s in Oklahoma since they didn’t offer them last year. Several of my friends have done the same.

Lowes and Home Depot have given military discount almost every time I have gone in. Menards people have been rude and some clerks have laughed when asked for military discount. So as a disabled vet I feel we all should boycott menards. Have encountered a couple of clerks at Home Depot stating that they give discounts during holiday times. If you ask for manager and state that we fight 365 not on holiday’s you will get discount. As much as I have used the two Lowes by me they never ask any more, just give it. Great store and people.

Just so you “ALL” know, it is not publicized, but Lowe’s honors the military discount every day. All you have to do is show your military ID, active, retired, DAV, reserve, etc… and you will get the 10% discount any day of the week.

Home Depot honors it year round as well. The magic words are that “Lowes does it year round”. They’ll basically price match the discount. You dont even need to talk to the manager. All the clerks are trained to give it (but only if you tell them Lowes gives the discount).

Kragen Auto Parts has a 10% military discount in affect all the time. Not sure if they have a special for Veteran’s Day.

To the ppl who seemed to get really upset about the dates, note that the year listed is 2008, so yes, the day of the week will be different this year. This is a good reference point though. You can easily follow up at the website for each of the mentioned companies. T-mobile gives a 15% discount on cell service if you have a military e-mail address, AT&T says they do too.
