Free Dinner at Golden Corral for Military Veterans
Would anyone like a free dinner at Golden Corral? Well, there is an easy way if you are an American military veteran. Golden Corral just announced this year’s Military Appreciation Monday will be November 12, 2007, from 5 to 9 pm.
For the past 6 years, Golden Corral has been honoring the US Military with a free “thank you” dinner and beverage at any Golden Corral restaurant on Military Appreciation Monday (first Monday after Veteran’s Day), to honor any person who has ever served in the United States Military.
In the past the only requirement to receive the free meal was to inform the restaurant you are a veteran; there is no proof required. That being said - please don’t abuse the system. Claiming you are a veteran just for a free meal is an insult to those who have served our country.
From the first Military Appreciation Monday in 2001 to the present, Golden Corral has donated 1.5 million free “thank you” meals and $1.9 million dollars to the Disabled American Veterans.
I would like to extend my thanks to the folks at Golden Corral for making this possible, and to all Americans who have served - thank you for your service.
